According to the Belfast Telegraph, Everton and West Ham United are both pursuing Crusaders talent Jack Patterson.
It’s claimed that both clubs have ‘set their sights’ on signing Patterson having spotted him in Northern Ireland.
Patterson is only 15, but was named on the bench for Crusaders’ senior side against Linfield last week.
The teenager is making rapid progress at Crusaders, and it’s no great surprise that he is already attracting major interest.
Patterson has been hailed by Crusaders boss Stephen Baxter, backing him as an ‘incredible player’ for his ages.
Baxter has also remarked ‘what a prospect’ Baxter is, even adding that he is outstanding talent with a huge future ahead of him.

Crusaders no doubt want to see Patterson develop and excel with them, but Premier League interest will be hard to fend off.
Everton have been tracking Patterson for a while now, as the Belfast Telegraph reported their interest in January, but West Ham now pose a new threat to their hopes.
