Everton and West Ham United are reportedly keen on Chievo Verona’s Samuel Bastien.

According to L’Equipe, Everton and West Ham United are both interested in signing Chievo Verona playmaker Samuel Bastien this summer.
Bastien, 21, was in the ranks of Standard Liege and Anderlecht in his native Belgium before making a move to Italy with Chievo in the summer of 2016.
The attacking midfielder made just 12 Serie A appearances last term, but has shown promise in his 20 games this season, scoring once whilst seemingly attracting interest.
L’Equipe report that Everton and West Ham are both keen to lure Bastien to the Premier League this summer, with Nice and Napoli also thought to be interested.

Quick and skilful, Bastien predominantly plays centrally either as a No. 10 or as a box-to-box midfielder, and his potential could see him make a move to England.
Everton may make changes in midfield given that speculation surrounds the futures of Wayne Rooney and Morgan Schneiderlin, with Bastien possibly heading to Goodison Park as one for the future.
Meanwhile, West Ham desperately need central midfield reinforcements, and Bastien may provide the Hammers with an athletic and technically-gifted alternative to Mark Noble, Cheikhou Kouyate and Pedro Obiang.
