Everton and West Ham United are reportedly keen on Michy Batshuayi.
According to the Daily Mail, both Everton and West Ham United are keen on Chelsea’s Michy Batshuayi should he become available.
Batshuayi, 25, was sent out on loan to Valencia back in August, despite starring at Borussia Dortmund in the second half of last season with nine goals in 14 games.
Unfortunately, the Belgian has struggled in Spain, scoring just twice in 19 games for the La Liga side, with the striker now expected to return to Chelsea in January.
Batshuayi wouldn’t play any sort of role under Maurizio Sarri though, and another loan move could materialise with with either Everton or West Ham.
The Daily Mail note that both teams like Batshuayi ahead of the January window, and could look to rescue him from his Valencia struggles.
The former Marseille hitman has shown with Dortmund that he can be a very dangerous striker, and that’s definitely what Everton are looking for.
West Ham have enjoyed success lately with a 4-4-2 setup, and they may well see Batshuayi as a potential partner to Marko Arnautovic in attack.
It remains to be seen whether the two sides look for loan or permanent deals, but at thi point you have to think that Chelsea would be open to either.
