Hinteregger is said to have been scouted by Everton and West Ham United last season.

Everton and West Ham United are ‘battling’ to sign Augsburg centre-back Martin Hinteregger, according to the Sun.
The newspaper reports Everton and West Ham are looking to strengthen their options in Hinteregger’s position ahead of next month’s transfer deadline – that’s despite the Hammers bringing in Issa Diop and Fabian Balbuena already.
And it is claimed the Austrian is valued at a ‘bargain £13 million’, despite impressing during last season’s Bundesliga campaign and having three years left on his contract.
Inter Milan are also credited with interest in Hinteregger, however, the former Red Bull Salzburg player ‘would like a crack at the Premier League’ if he is to leave Augsburg, according to the Sun.

The newspaper reports Everton and West Ham regularly scouted Hinteregger last season, but warns that his Bavarian employers are ‘financially robust’ and ‘have no need’ to raise funds.
The 25-year-old has 30 caps for Austria, where Hammers forward Marko Arnautovic is one of his colleagues.
Would Hinteregger be a good addition for Everton or West Ham?
