Everton and Newcastle United reportedly want Carlos Mane from Sporting Lisbon in the summer transfer window.

It has been reported that new Everton manager Marco Silva wants to secure the services of Mane this summer.
The report has also claimed that Newcastle are keen on the former Portugal Under-23 international, who can operate as a winger or as a forward.
Mane has been on loan at German club VfB Stuttgart from Portuguese giants Sporting since the simmer of 2016.

Advantage Everton?
Mane is a talented and promising young winger, and if Everton or Newcastle are able to secure the services of the Portuguese for a relatively modest transfer fee, then it would be a smart deal indeed.
Everton, though, probably have an advantage. Silva was in charge of Sporting from the summer of 2014 until the summer of 2015 and worked with the 24-year-old at the Portuguese giants.

The Premier League is a tough and competitive domestic league, and having someone familiar in Silva could swap Mane’s decision in favour of moving to Goodison Park instead of to St. James’ Park.
Meanwhile, 21-year-old Everton forward Dominic Calvert-Lewin will snub interest from Bournemouth and stay at Goodison Park next season, according to The Mirror.
