The pair have added several promising Football League talents to their ranks in recent months and Osayi-Samuel could be next on their agendas.
Blackpool’s Bright Osayi-Samuel celebrates
The 19-year-old has made 27 appearances for the Seasiders this season, scoring two goals and creating a third from the flanks.
Report claims Swansea City made £12m striker bid minutes before the deadline
According to Transfermarkt, however, Osayi-Samuel’s contract is due to expire at the end of this season, although it also states that Blackpool have the option to extend it by a further 12 months.
Everton’s Ademola Lookman scores
Either way, it appears the League Two side will struggle to keep hold of the Nigerian beyond the summer, with neither Everton nor Aston Villa the first to be credited with an interest in signing him.
