The Braga midfielder has reportedly been watched by Everton, among others.
Everton are among three Premier League clubs to have watched Braga midfielder Xeka in recent weeks, according to A Bola.
Middlesbrough and Stoke City are also said to have checked on the 22-year-old, although the report claims it is Leicester City who are currently leading the race.

Xeka has spent the past two seasons away from Braga, but returned to sign for the Portuguese side’s B team in the summer.
But having impressed at that level, Xeka has found himself called into Jose Peseiro’s senior set up, making three appearances so far, in both central midfield and left wing positions.

The former Valencia youth player’s displays are said to have encouraged Braga to try to extend his contract, which expires in 2018, and the alleged interest is sure to accelerate those plans.
Everton have been tipped to add to their midfield ranks in January, with Manchester United’s Morgan Schneiderlin linked.
Xeka, though, is likely to be a far more cost effective option for Ronald Koeman’s Toffees, although whether he’s as good as the Frenchman remains to be seen.
