Report: Everton ace Moise Kean wants to re-join Juventus, one year after £27.5m transfer

According to Calciomercato, Everton striker Moise Kean wants to leave the club and return to Juventus following reports of a potential loan deal.

The 20-year-old forward just hasn’t got going at Goodison Park.

Kean joined the Toffees from Juventus one year ago for a sizeable £27.5 million fee. He arrived with a decent record in Turn, netting eight times in 2018-19.

But in an Everton shirt, Kean has failed to impress and looks out of place.

The talented striker posted just two goals and two assists in 29 Premier League appearances this past season, though he only managed six starts.

According to a report by Tuttosport this week, Juve want him back on loan.

The Serie A champions are looking to bolster their attacking ranks. Eden Dzeko is on their wish-list, while Kean represents a potentially cheaper alternative.

Calciomercato, meanwhile, claims Kean wants to re-join his former club where the environment is dubbed ‘ideal’ to express himself and make the best impact.

It’s difficult to see Everton giving up on Kean after just one year considering his fee.

But with Richarlison and Dominic Calvert-Lewin the regular front two, manager Carlo Ancelotti may feel Kean could benefit from a loan move away from Merseyside.

Everton plot to break into the Premier League’s top four. Kean can still be a part of that long-term goal, but right now he needs confidence and a respite from expectations.
