The Toffees are reportedly eager to bring the Crystal Palace and Ivory Coast star to Goodison Park this summer.

Wilfried Zaha of Crystal Palace is awarded with the EA SPORTS Player of the Month for April on May 8, 2018 in Beckenham, England.

Everton have seen their latest bid for Crystal Palace ace Wilfried Zaha turned down by the Eagles, according to a report in the Daily Mail.

The report claims that the Toffees told Palace they were prepared to raise their up front cash offer for the winger to £70million after their initial offer £65million was rejected earlier on Tuesday.

In addition, Everton were also willing to include fringe duo Cenk Tosun and James McCarthy in the deal, but the South London club is still refusing to be drawn to the negotiating table, according to the report.

It is believed that McCarthy – valued at around £10million by the report, while Transfermarkt values him at £4.5million – has been offered to Palace on a permanent deal, while Tosun – valued by Transfermarkt at £16.2million – would be expected to join on loan until the end of the season.

The nine-times capped Ivory Coast international – who according to Spotrac earns £130,000 per week at Palace – has been linked with a number of Premier League clubs over the summer including Everton, Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur.

In addition, Italian side Napoli were last week reported by the Daily Mail to have prepared a £60million deal for Zaha, who contributed to 20 goals for Palace last season and has previously spoken of his desire to compete in the Champions League.
