West Brom to tie Jonny Evans down to a new contract to ward off Leicester interest.
Evans has already been the subject of a £10m bid from the Foxes – which West Brom rejected – and they are considering coming back with an improved £15m offer.

This is despite the fact that their initial interest in the 29-year-old came before they signed Harry Maguire from Hull City, but manager Craig Shakespeare believes he could accommodate both centre-backs at the King Power Stadium.
However, the Baggies are adamant they are not selling Evans and the Northern Ireland international will extend his stay at the West Midlands club despite having two years remaining on his current deal.
This comes after boss Tony Pulis aimed a pointed comment at Leicester – and any other clubs interested in the former Manchester United man – after making him the team’s new captain.
“Jonny Evans is staying with West Bromwich Albion. There is no doubt about that,” Pulis told the Birmingham Mail.
“Jonny will be our captain next season. He had a fantastic year last season and I’m hoping he steps up now.”
Evans has been with West Brom for two years after joining from Old Trafford in the summer of 2015, making 65 appearances in all competitions since.
