According to the Daily Mail, Fluminense forward Evanilson is open to joining Crystal Palace after they asked about a deal.

It’s claimed that Palace have made contact about a possible deal for the 20-year-old, I the hope of landing a massive coup.

Fluminense want Evanilson to stay until the end of the Brazilian season later this year, so it may come down to what the youngster wants.

The report also notes that Liverpool and Manchester City also want to sign Evanilson, meaning Palace face a real battle to sign him.

Yet with the attacker open to joining Palace, it seems that Roy Hodgson could end up beating Liverpool to his signature.

Signing Evanilson may be a little tricky though; he came through the Fluminense ranks, but signed a pre-contract agreement with Tombense in December 2019.

When that deal started in February 2020, Tombense loaned him back to Fluminense until the end of 2021 in a rather bizarre and complex situation – as is often the case with deals in South America.

Evanilson is highly rated after eight goals in 17 games for Fluminense, but Palace or Liverpool would have to seemingly negotiate with both Fluminense and Tombense to lure the striker to England.
