Fulham spent a lot of money the last time they were in the Premier League. The Lilywhites signed seven players on a permanent deal in summer 2018 – but they still failed to avoid relegation that season.

Andre-Frank Zambo Anguissa was one of their most expensive buys that summer. The Cameroonian arrived from Marseille for £30 million (Goal) but he, like many others, left on loan after Fulham went down to the Championship.

Now they are back in the big time, Anguissa has returned. The 24-year-old has featured in every game this season and has an assist already. He seems to be very much in Scott Parker’s plans, especially after the Lilywhites turned down a big bid for him.

Fulham rejected a £22.5 million bid from Villarreal for Anguissa last month (Sky Sports). The La Liga outfit have moved on but Parker might have to fend off interest from another big European club.

CalcioMercato claims AC Milan have Anguissa on their wish list. The Italian giants have Chelsea’s Tiemoue Bakayoko as their priority target and talks have been ongoing between the clubs for some time.

However, Milan and Chelsea have yet to agree a deal for Bakayoko and the Rossoneri could turn their attention to Anguissa as a result, which would leave Fulham with a big decision to make.

Having used him in all three games, Parker clearly has Anguissa in his plans. However, with Mario Lemina now in the mix, the Cameroonian could be someone they might cash in on before the window ends.

Fulham spent a lot of money on Anguissa two years ago. If Milan table an offer anywhere close to the £30 million they paid for him, the Lilywhites may consider selling Anguissa to raise funds to strengthen other areas of the team.
