According to Tutto Mercato Web, Olympiacos are close to signing Luka Milivojevic from Crystal Palace ahead of the transfer deadline in Greece.
What’s the story?
Well, it was the Greek giants who sold the Serbia international to Crystal Palace back in January 2017, with Sam Allardyce wrapping up a £13m deal while also signing Mamadou Sakho on loan from Liverpool.
Now, Milivojevic looks set to return to the Greek Super League.
Tutto Mercato Web believe Olympiacos are close to completing three signings ahead of their transfer deadline, with Pajtim Kasami and Omar Elabdellaoui also set to join.
It comes after the Europa League side also managed to sign James Rodriguez and Cedric Bakambu in what has been a very exciting window for Olympiacos supporters.
Amazingly, they are also trying to sign Keylor Navas from Paris Saint-Germain.

Milivojevic has lost his place in the starting XI under Patrick Vieira, as Cheick Doucoure, Eberechi Eze and Jeffrey Schlupp are preferred to the 31-year-old in the middle of the field.
The Serbian – who is officially club captain at Selhurst Park – is yet to start in the Premier League this season, and was left on the bench last time out in the 0-0 draw against Newcastle.
Crystal Palace right to sell Luka Milivojevic
If Tutto Mercato Web are telling the truth, then we agree with Crystal Palace’s decision to sell their captain.
As aforesaid, Milivojevic has lost his place under Vieira, and he earns far too much to be sitting on the bench every week.
The Crystal Palace No.4 supposedly makes £80,000-a-week.
Furthermore, Milivojevic becomes a free agent in July 2023, so this is Crystal Palace’s last chance to recoup a decent fee for their captain, as he can strike a pre-contract agreement with another club in January.
Milivojevic has been a tremendous servant for the south Londoners across his 182 appearances for the Eagles, but it is definitely the right time for Crystal Palace to sell him.
