According to TuttoMercatoWeb, Inter Milan have joined Barcelona in expressing a desire to sign Georginio Wijnaldum from Liverpool.
The Italian news outlet state that Antonio Conte’s side are thinking about attempting a similar transfer swoop to the one which saw them land Christian Eriksen.
Last season, the Dane had six months left on his Tottenham contract in January, where the European giants then paid £16.9 million to bring him to the San Siro.
With Wijnaldum’s contract at Anfield also set to expire this June, Inter are preparing a similar deal.
TuttoMercatoWeb state that there’s talk of Liverpool being offered €15 million (£13.6 million) for the Dutchman.

That would represent a loss on the £25 million the Reds paid Newcastle for Wijnaldum back in 2016, although the Merseysiders are hindered by his contract situation.
Jurgen Klopp has previously said that his relationship with the Netherlands international hasn’t been affected by the contract stand-off at all.
In fact, the German told Sky Sports that Wijnaldum is an ‘outstanding person’ and is also among the best players he’s ever trained.

“No harm to our relationship forever. Gini is one of the best people I have ever met and he is one of the best players I’ve ever trained and he is an outstanding person so there is no issue, no issue at all.”
It would be a shame for Liverpool to lose the 30-year-old, as he’s still a vital player for Klopp.
Wijnaldum has started 17 games across both the Premier League and the Champions League this season, showing remarkable availability amid an injury crisis for the Reds.
