Juventus have performed a U-turn on the future of Merih Demiral, with Calciomercato reporting that the Leicester City and Everton target could be sold for a bid in the region of £35 million.
From unsellable to, well, sellable.
This was supposed to be the season in which Demiral stepped out of the shadows of Giorgio Chiellini and Leonardo Bonnuci in Turin, forming a new and futuristic central defensive partnership with Matthijs de Ligt.
Instead, Andrea Pirlo has opted to keep the faith with the old guard – and some of his former teammates – with Demiral limited to just 10 Serie A starts in 2020/21.
According to Calciomercato, Juventus appear to have softened their stance regarding the tough-talking Turkey international.

Juve previously knocked back a whole host of proposals, including from many a Premier League club, but would now be tempted to consider offers of around £35 million.
This might have something to do with the fact that Juventus are having a bit of a tough time of it financially.
If only owner Andrea Agnelli had an inventive solution to that particular problem…
Calciomercato add that Leicester are long-time admirers of Caglar Soyuncu’s international teammate.
Gazzetta dello Sport, meanwhile, stated a few days ago that Everton could offer Moise Kean to his former employers as part of a potential swap deal that would see Demiral go the other way.
