According to the Daily Record, Tunisian champions Esperance have made contact over a potential deal for Celtic striker Vakoun Issouf Bayo.
It’s claimed that Esperance want to add another goalscorer, and Bayo is their current target given that he has already played in Tunisia.
Bayo spent two years with Etoile du Sahel before heading to Dunajska Streda in 2018, where his goals earned him a big move to Celetic.
The 24-year-old has only made 17 appearances for Celtic, scoring two goals, and has spent this season on loan at Toulouse.
Bayo has hit eight goals in 29 games for Toulouse this season, but it’s unclear whether or not they will pursue a permanent deal for him.
That means Esperance are now looking to swoop in, and could offer Celtic some of their money back on what has been a poor signing.

Celtic paid £2million to sign Bayo under Brendan Rodgers in January 2019, but he has barely made an impact in Glasgow.
Bayo would surely rather stay in Europe rather than head back to Tunisia, but Esperance may be one of his few options right now.
