Christian Eriksen is reportedly set to sign a new contract at Tottenham Hotspur with Dele Alli and Harry Kane expected to follow suit.

Christian Eriksen is set to sign a new contract with Tottenham Hotspur, according to the Daily Mail, after holding face-to-face discussions with manager Mauricio Pochettino.
Pochettino has only recently put pen to paper on a new five-year deal worth £8.5m-a-year himself and since then has held talks with several key players about doing the same.

Eriksen signed his last contract extension with Spurs back in September 2016, with Sky Sports reporting that four-year deal saw the midfielder’s wages double from £35,000-a-week to £70,000-a-week.
Yet those earnings are likely to significantly increase again, with football.london outlining that Tottenham’s famously tight wage structure will be increased to allow them to compete with the Premier League’s other big clubs.

Once Eriksen has signed Dele Alli and Harry Kane are expected to follow suit, with it rumoured that Kane is set to be paid around £200,000-a-week.
Captain Hugo Lloris, Heung-Min Son and Jan Vertonghen will also be offered new deals, while Ben Davies, Eric Dier and Kieran Trippier may also be given fresh terms as well.
