Manchester United head coach Erik the Hag wants Harry Maguire to leave, amid rumours linking the defender with Ange Postecoglou’s Tottenham Hotspur.

The Independent have reported that Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag has taken the decision to offload Harry Maguire, who has been linked with Tottenham Hotspur and West Ham United in the summer transfer window.

The report has claimed that West Ham want to sign Maguire, but the Hammers do not want to pay the £50 million transfer fee that the Red Devils want for him.

West Ham believe that they could be able to sign the England international defender for £35 million, according to the report

The Daily Star have reported that Tottenham striker Harry Kane wants the club’s bosses to get a deal done for the £200,000-a-week (SalarySport) England international central defender.

LondonWorld have claimed that “there have been talks going” for Tottenham to sign the 30-year-old.

What should Tottenham Hotspur do about Manchester United defender Harry Maguire?

In our opinion, if Tottenham Hotspur have the chance to sign Harry Maguire from Manchester United, then they should take it.

Maguire may not have been a huge success at Old Trafford so far, but he is a very good defender who does well for England and was superb when he was at Leicester City.

Tottenham could do with a very good and experienced centre-back, and we believe that at the right price, Maguire would be a very smart signing for the North London club.
