Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal have been linked with Jeremie Frimpong, but it seems that Manchester United head coach Erik ten Hag personally wants to sign the right-back.
Journalist Dean Jones reported in GiveMeSport in March 2023 that Arsenal and Manchester United are competing for Bayer Leverkusen right-back Jeremie Frimpong in the summer transfer window.
The journalist claimed that Arsenal are on the hunt for a new right-back and have been scouting former Celtic player Frimpong.
Jones reported at the time interest from United in the 22-year-old as well.
Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano has now reported in GiveMeSport that Manchester United remain keen on the right-back.
Romano has claimed that United manager Erik ten Hag personally wants the youngster at Old Trafford and appreciates the Dutchman.

Arsenal or Manchester United for Jeremie Frimpong?
In our view, Jeremie Frimpong could fancy a move to Manchester United instead of a switch to Arsenal in the summer transfer window.
Both Arsenal and Manchester United are massive clubs and are global brands, and both would be appealing to any player.
However, it is very likely that Frimpong would be able to establish himself in the United first team quicker than he would at the Gunners.
Ben White is the first-choice right-back at Arsenal, and the former Leeds United loanee has done extremely well this season.
And White is a central defender by trade.
Takehiro Tomiyasu is another good option at right-back for Arsenal.
Diogo Dalot and Aaron Wan-Bissaka are good right-backs, but the latter has been linked with a move away from Old Trafford.
