Lamela is the latest Spurs star to sign a new deal, according to Di Marzio.
The report comes immediately after fellow attacker Son Heung-min had signed a new contract with the north Londoners, as Spurs get their contracts sorted before entering the transfer window.
Lamela, 26, previously had just two years remaining on his Tottenham contract, with minor doubts arising over his future at Spurs following a double hip injury that saw him undergo two operations in early 2017.
The issue kept him out for more than a year before finally returning to action in November 2017, and has since gone on to impress by having a hand in 11 goals during his 33 appearances during 2017-18.
Scoring four times, Lamela turned provider on a further seven occasions and is clearly highly-rated by Pochettino, who started his fellow countryman against Juventus in the Champions League over Lucas Moura and Son.
Now, Lamela is set to remain at Spurs until the summer of 2022, after being handed a new contract by Pochettino’s side.
