Sunderland reportedly want Eoin Doyle from Preston North End in the summer transfer window.

It has been reported that Sunderland manager Jack Ross has turned his search for a striker this summer towards Doyle.
The report has also claimed that the 30-year-old forward is under serious consideration, and that Preston are willing to sell him in the summer transfer window.

Good signing for Sunderland?
Doyle has been on the books of Preston since 2006, but the forward has struggled to establish himself in the first team on a regular basis at Deepdale.
The former Hibernian forward has been out on loan at Portsmouth and Oldham Athletic during his time at Preston so far.

The 30-year-old scored 14 goals and provided six assists in 30 League One appearances for Oldham last season, according to Transfermarkt.co.uk.
Doyle has proved himself in League One, and the forward would be a good signing for Sunderland, who will be aiming to win automatic promotion to the Championship next season.
