According to The Sunday Post, the agent of Enzo Maresca has refused to rule out a move to Celtic.
It’s claimed that Maresca’s agent has stated that the Italian doesn’t want to discuss links to Celtic just yet as he is focused on life at Manchester City.
Maresca did though indicate, through his agent, that he wants to become a manager one day, meaning Celtic could yet tempt him north of the order.
The Bhoys are in the market for a new manager having parted ways with Lennon last week, and Maresca could be a left-field suggestion.
The 41-year-old has yet to manage on his own yet, but he does have strong coaching history that may entice Celtic into giving him a go.
He has worked as an assistant manager at Sevilla with Vincenzo Montella, before then heading to West Ham to support Manuel Pellegrini.

Now, Maresca is in charge of Manchester City’s Elite Development Squad, meaning he is working underneath Pep Guardiola at the Etihad Stadium.
One interesting note here is that Celtic want City’s football partnerships manager Fergal Harkin as their new director of football this summer.
He should know Maresca well, and a double raid on City could be Celtic’s big plan to get back on track and close the gap to Rangers next season.
