Leeds United are reportedly looking to offload Laurens De Bock after a disappointing spell at Elland Road.
According to a report from the Yorkshire Evening Post, Laurens De Bock is attracting attention from clubs from abroad and in England as Leeds look to offload the £1.5 million signing before the transfer window closes elsewhere.
De Bock has endured a nightmare spell since joining the Whites during the 2018 January window. The Belgian arrived as Leeds looked for the answer to their left-back woes.
However, he made just seven appearances in the Championship for United and was out of the side by the end of the campaign as Tom Pearce stepped up from the under-23s.
De Bock spent last season on loan with Oostende. And it is no surprise that he appears to have no future at Elland Road, with Marcelo Bielsa having the likes of Barry Douglas, Gjanni Alioski and Leif Davis available to him at left-back.
The Yorkshire Evening Post reports that the 26-year-old has options at home and abroad, and is interested in some of the opportunities that are on the table heading into the final days of the window.
It looks to be better for both Leeds and De Bock if they can agree a permanent exit in the coming days. He clearly has no future with the Whites having played no part in pre-season or in the opening weeks of the new Championship campaign.
He will be looking to get his career back on track, and Leeds may be able to recoup some of the money that they spent to bring him to Yorkshire in the first place.
It is not a deal that has turned out particularly well for anyone, and it looks to be best for all parties if something is agreed in the near future.
