
According to The Athletic, Leeds United are planning to raid Rangers and Celtic for their young players in the summer of 2021.
It has been reported that Premier League club Leeds are looking at juniors at Celtic and Rangers, as well as at Brighton and Hove Albion and Bradford City.
The Whites want to add good and promising young players to their Under-23 side, and have identified young gems at Rangers and Celtic, according to the report, which has not mentioned any names of the players the West Yorkshire club are looking at.
Worrying for Rangers and Celtic?
Rangers and Celtic are massive clubs, but it must be a worry for them that Leeds are planning to sign their best young players.
The senior Leeds side could end up in the top half the Premier League table this season, and the Under-23 team are on the verge of winning the Premier League 2 Division Two title.
At Leeds, there is a pathway for young players to progress to the first team, and there is also the wealth and prestige of playing in the Premier League.
