The Three Lions are on the look out for a new manager following Roy Hodgson’s resignation earlier in the week.
Hodgson resigned after England were humiliatingly knocked out of Euro 2016 by Iceland.
England lost 2-1 to Iceland in the last 16 of the international tournament, and the defeat made Hodgson’s position untenable.
The FA have wasted no time drawing up plans for who they want to be the next England boss, with Gareth Southgate set to take over in a temporary role.
Southgate is currently the bookies’ favourite to become England’s next manager, but the Guardian suggest that the Three Lions have different plans.
Celtic manager Rodgers is of interest, although whether he would be keen to take the job soon after agreeing to a move to Parkhead remains to be seen.
Meanwhile, Ranieri is also on the FA’s wishlist, but it is unknown whether he would want to leave Leicester after guiding them to the Premier League title.
