Championship high-flyers Fulham are in talks with Emmanuel Adebayor over a potential move to Craven Cottage.
Sky Sports report on their transfer centre (09:44) that the Togo striker is in discussion with the Cottagers over potentially joining the club on a free transfer.
The striker has been a free agent since leaving Crystal Palace in the summer.
The veteran striker would of course be a magnificent signing from Fulham.
Emmanuel Adebayor – Real Madrid
He has previous experience with the likes of Arsenal, Real Madrid and Tottenham Hotspur. The 32-year-old is still in good shape and settled in the London area – which gives Fulham an advantage over any other interested parties.
The club lot strikers Ross McCormack and Moussa Dembele this summer, to Aston Villa and Celtic respectively.
However, they have still started the season extremely well and are currently second in the Championship table.
The signature of Adebayor would no doubt be an exciting and eye-catching piece of business for the club in their pursuit of promotion from the Championship back to the Premier League.
However, Fulham will have to pay a vast wage packet to secure his services.
