According to the Daily Record, Rangers loanee Emerson Hyndman is set to return to parent club Bournemouth in the next 24 hours for treatment on a foot injury.
The Gers took Hyndman on loan in January, with former manager Mark Warburton luring the United States youth international to Ibrox on loan until the end of the season.
Hyndman, 21, has impressed since joining Rangers, scoring four goals in 13 Scottish Premiership appearances, becoming a regular under both Warburton and his replacement Pedro Caixinha.
Former Fulham man Hyndman has even been attracting interest based on his performances for Rangers, with the Daily Record recently reporting that Old Firm rivals Celtic are keen to sign him this summer.

Now, it seems that Hyndman has played his final game for Rangers, as the Daily Record report that he will be returning to Bournemouth in the next 24 hours in order to have treatment on a foot injury.
It’s stated that Hyndman won’t return to Rangers before the end of the season, and appears to have kicked his final ball for the club having missed out on Sunday’s trip to take on Partick Thistle.

The report adds that Hyndman said goodbye to his Rangers team-mates earlier today as he returns to the South Coast, with a summer return seemingly unlikely.
Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe told the Bournemouth Echo last week that Celtic and Rangers have little to no chance of landing Hyndman this summer, meaning that his time in Scotland appears to have come to an end for the foreseeable future.
