According to The Sun, Arsenal are eyeing up a £40million income for academy products Eddie Nketiah and Ainsley Maitland-Niles.
It’s claimed that the Gunners are willing to sell both players this summer after bringing them through the academy in recent years.
Nketiah has started just four Premier League games this season, whilst Maitland-Niles is out on loan at West Bromwich Albion until the summer.
Edu wants to fund Arsenal’s own transfer business, and he wants £20million for each player in a potential £40million windfall.
So where could they go? Maitland-Niles is attracting interest from Leeds United according to The Mirror, and is bound to be a man in demand.
His versatility means he can play at full back, wing back or in midfield, and he could fill a similar role to Stuart Dallas at Leeds – if they can cough up £20million.

As for Nketiah, the London Evening Standard recently reported that West Ham wanted Nketiah in January and still have him on their radar for the summer.
West Ham do need a striker after selling Sebastien Haller, though whether they are prepared to splash £20million on Nketiah remains to be seen.
