Mikel Arteta and Edu are reportedly convinced that Chelsea forward Kai Havertz is perfect for Arsenal.
According to Sky Germany reporter Florian Plettenberg on Twitter, Arsenal are very close to completing a deal for Chelsea forward Kai Havertz in the summer transfer window.
The Germany international, who can also operate as an attacking midfielder, is keen on moving to Arsenal, who now have to make the final offer to Chelsea.
Plettenberg has claimed that Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta and the Gunners’ Sporting Director Edu both believe that the 24-year-old is perfect for the Gunners’ attack.

In our view, that Arsenal are close to the signing of Kai Havertz from Chelsea is very good news for the Emirates Stadium faithful.
Havertz may not have been a massive success at Chelsea, but he is 24, a Germany international and a UEFA Champions League winners with the Blues.
Now, while Arsenal need to sign a prolific striker, the German star has actually played down the middle for the Blues.
Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta could use Havertz in that role as well or deploy the £250,000-a-week (The Daily Mail) star in a deeper position in attack.
