Thuram is out of contract at Borussia Monchengladbach at the end of the season, and Newcastle, Arsenal and Tottenham all are reportedly interested in signing the France international striker on a free transfer in the summer of 2023.

The report has claimed that Newcastle’s owners, Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund (PIF), are willing to back manager Eddie Howe in his quest to get the team into the top four of the Premier League table this season.

Howe could reportedly make a bid for Thuram in the January transfer window.

Newcastle are third in the Premier League table at the moment with 30 points from 15 matches.
