Former Rangers striker Nacho Novo is in talks over a sensational move to Lowland League side East Kilbride FC, the Daily Record has reported.
Initial talks are understood to have already begun between the two parties, with the Spaniard allegedly set to meet boss Martin Lauchlan later this weekend.

The signing of Novo, who has just returned from a spell in America with the Carolina Railhawks, would undoubtedly be the most momentous in Lowland League history.

However, Lauchlan does have previous for signing a former Old Firm star, completing a deal to bring Bobby Petta to Junior side Rossvale in February.

The 37-year-old has extensive experience of Scottish football having spent six years at Rangers, even a scoring a penalty help fire them into the 2008 UEFA Cup final, before enjoying spells at Dundee, Raith Rovers and Greenock Morton.
Should Novo join East Kilbride, it could prove a massive draw for the club, who played Celtic in the last 16 of the Scottish Cup last year and have a home capacity of around 600.
