Aston Villa defender Easah Suliman has come through the ranks at the Midlands giants.

Aston Villa defender Easah Suliman is currently training with the Aston Villa first-team, but he will not play any part in Dean Smith’s Premier League plans, according to a report.

The Birmingham Mail have claimed that the 21-year-old centre-back has 12 months remaining on his contract and he perhaps has one last chance to prove himself out on loan.

It is said that a permanent transfer could materialise for the academy product, but that scenario appears less likely in occurring.

Suliman was on a season-long loan at Dutch side FC Emmen last season, but after struggling to earn regular game time, he was recalled back by Smith in January.

Since then he continued to train with the first-team and ply his trade with the youngsters, as he now needs a loan spell that will work in his favour.

During the early part of his career, Suliman has played in the lower tiers of English football, for Grimbsy and Cheltenham Town, but once again, he hasn’t been able to find regular football.

There’s no doubt that his aim should be to find the right team to showcase his talent in because time is running out for him to prove himself in B6.

Working with the senior players at Bodymoor Heath will be helpful, as will working under a coach such as John Terry, but it’s the minutes on the pitch he needs.
