Leeds United are read to sign another talent from the continent

Leeds United are closing in on a deal for Ajax defender Pascal Struijk.
Dutch website AD.nl report on their live blog (25/1): “Pascal Struijk almost certainly signs a contract tomorrow at Championship club Leeds United, the second level of England.”
Yorkshire Evening Post journalist Phil Hay also reported the developments.
Struijk had posted a picture on Instagram of suitcases at an airport.
Struijk is part of Ajax’s under-19 side and will link up with Leeds United’s academy teams.
The defender is a Dutch youth international and his contract at Ajax was due to expire in June.

Over the past two transfer windows Leeds have been relentlessly adding players from Europe and England.
Already this transfer window Leeds have added Oliver Sarkic, Kamil Miazek, Sam Dalby and Aapo Halme.
It would surprise nobody if more were still to come.
