According to Sky Sports, Nottingham Forest goalkeeper Dorus de Vries is in Glasgow to undergo a medical with Celtic.

So far only three new signings have arrived at Celtic this summer, with Scott Sinclair the latest to join when he completed a move from Aston Villa on Sunday.

Brendan Rodgers is keen to keep adding though as he seeks to retain the Scottish Premiership this season.

The goalkeeping position is one that needs particular attention, with back up Logan Bailly’s ankle injury meaning they only have youngster Leo Fasan as back up to Craig Gordon.

That has led to Rodgers looking at alternative options and the Scottish Sun reported earlier this week that they were interested in a move for Nottingham Forest ‘keeper Dorus de Vries.

They have now stepped up that interest it seems; with Sky Sports reporting he is in Glasgow today to undergo his medical.

The process is likely to be a long one as he is currently out injured with an ankle injury, which is likely to delay things somewhat.

Should he complete the move, it will see him reunited with his former Swansea City boss, who he played 51 games under in the 2010/11 season.
