Liverpool fans may be dreaming of a move for Borussia Dortmund striker Erling Haaland, and their hopes will be building.
Sure, there will be lingering doubts that the Fenway Sports Group will cough up the cash to sign Haaland, but everybody needs a little bit of hope.
This week, Sky Sports reporter Dharmesh Sheth suggested that, despite interest from elsewhere, Haaland would like to play for Jurgen Klopp at Liverpool.
Liverpool have signed a number of former Red Bull Salzburg stars in recent times, and there are obvious parallels between Dortmund and Liverpool through Klopp.
The Reds would have to cough up huge money for Haaland, but they may again be encouraged after hearing that Dortmund are already eyeing potential replacements.
Eurosport claim that the Bundesliga giants are eyeing up Sevilla striker Youssef En-Nesyri as a replacement for Haaland, having caught their eye this season.

Dortmund have ‘begun looking into his situation’ after 13 La Liga goals this season, and may hope to lure the Moroccan star to Germany this summer.
Intriguingly though, En-Nesyri is a name also on the Liverpool radar according to 90Min, with Michael Edwards also impressed with his quality in front of goal.
If Dortmund keep hold of Haaland, it may leave Liverpool to go for En-Nesyri; alternatively, a move to Dortmund could free up Haaland for the Reds. The Sevilla ace just became a big piece of the Haaland jigsaw.
