Doncaster Rovers expect to complete a deal to sign Greenock Morton winger Jai Quitongo today.
It is reported by the Daily Mail that the teenager is all set for a move to the Keepmoat Stadium this deadline day.
The 18-year-old winger has impressed in Scottish football so far and looks set for a £100,000 move to Yorkshire by the end of the day.
The Morton attacker, who has also been on the books at Hamilton Academical and Aberdeen, is the son of former Angolan wide-man Jose Quitongo – who played for the likes of Hamilton, Hearts and St Mirren in his career – before eventually settling down in Scotland.
Doncaster boss Darren Ferguson stated yesterday that the free agent signature of Frazer Richardson would be the final incoming for the club today.
However, it would appear that Quitongo is Doncaster bound ahead of a move to the League Two club.
Doncaster are currently third in League Two after an impressive start to the season – winning their last four games in a row.
Hopefully Quitongo will be a hit for the club in their promotion bid.
