Pedro Caixinha is reportedly all set to be appointed as the next Glasgow Rangers boss.

A report in The Scottish Sun has suggested that Rangers plan to confirm the appointment of Pedro Caixinha as their new manager on Friday, leaving it too late for the Portuguese to take charge of the Old Firm clash this weekend.
The Gers have been without a permanent boss for nearly a month following Mark Warburton’s departure in somewhat bizarre circumstances in February.
And while a whole host of names were linked with the post at various stages, Caixinha has seemingly been out in front for a considerable period of time, and it now appears that confirmation of his appointment is now imminent, with an £800,000 a year deal agreed.
According to The Scottish Sun, the 46-year-old’s arrival will be confirmed on Friday despite Rangers, so far, failing to agree compensation with Caixinha’s current club Al-Gharafa.

The news that the Light Blues are closing in on their new man, and plan to have him in place in time for their clash with the Hoops – though he will not be in charge – will provide the squad with a major boost going into the contest.
Celtic will be overwhelming favourites to extend their winning run, but Rangers’ squad will surely be looking to make a major impression in front of their new manager as, with a crucial summer ahead at Ibrox, they may be playing for their futures with the club.
