The Everton target is on international duty with Spain Under-21s.

Sandro Ramirez at Barcelona

The Mirror has reported that Everton will announce the signing of Sandro Ramirez after Spain Under-21’s European Championship has finished.

The 21-year-old former Barcelona starlet has been linked with a switch to Everton as The Sun reported last week that the Toffees and Malaga have agreed a £5.2 million deal.

But a delay over the announcement has prompted some confusion among fans of the Merseyside club.

However, The Mirror suggest that the Spain Under-21 star is focused on his international commitments in Poland at the moment, but an announcement will be made when La Roja are eliminated from the tournament or win it.

They face Italy Under-21s in Tuesday night’s semi-final, which means that Sandro’s move could be announced early on Wednesday morning if the Spanish are knocked out.

The final of the competition will be played on Friday.

Everton have already had a busy summer after splurging some £54 million on bringing Jordan Pickford and Davy Klaassen to Goodison Park, and the spending is very unlikely to stop with Sandro.
