Alan Pardew is reportedly a candidate in the running for the West Bromwich Albion job.

The Baggies axed Pulis at the start of the week as their winless run in the Premier League continued, and, unsurprisingly, a number of names have already been linked with the post.

One of the most prominent names it seems is that of Pardew, who is out of work having left Crystal Palace last year. And the Mirror reports that he is extremely keen on getting back into the dugout with West Brom if the chance presents itself.
The Mirror adds, seemingly with the idea of attempting to appease supporters who had grown tired of watching Tony Pulis’ brand of football, Pardew has told those close to him that he plans to ‘take the handbrake off’, surely hinting that he would be looking to implement a more attacking style of play.

With a number of exciting players within the squad, there is no question that West Brom have the potential to play a more exciting brand of football, putting more faith in the likes of Oliver Burke and Nacer Chadli who certainly have the potential to make something happen.
And if he can convince the West Brom hierarchy that he can introduce that style, then it would be no surprise if the board like what they hear as the squad is certainly good enough to be doing a lot better than they currently are.
