Everton are set to tie up the signing of Malaga forward Sandro Ramirez.
According to Sky Sports, Everton have tied up the £5.25million signing of Malaga forward Sandro Ramirez – and he will be given the No. 9 shirt.
The Toffees have struck deals to sign Jordan Pickford, Nathangelo Markelo, Davy Klaassen and Henry Onyekuru this summer, and Ronald Koeman is far from done just yet.

Malaga forward Sandro is now set to be confirmed as an Everton player, after an impressive campaign for Malaga, in which he scored 14 times in 30 appearances following a move from Barcelona last summer.
The 21-year-old attacker, who can play on the left of a three-man attack or centrally, is another major addition for Everton, with Ronald Koeman’s men harbouring ambitions of pushing for the top four.
Sky Sports not only claim that Sandro is set to be confirmed as an Everton player imminently, but also add that he will be given the No. 9 shirt upon his arrival at Goodison Park.
Wearing the No. 9 shirt at any club brings a certain level of pressure, and Everton have certainly had some goalscorers and fan favourites wearing that number, with the list below showing the goals scored by Everton’s No. 9’s over the years.
Tony Cottee – 184 games, 72 goals
Duncan Ferguson – 116 games, 37 goals
Kevin Campbell 145 games, 45 goals
James Beattie – 76 games, 13 goals
Louis Saha – 97 games, 27 goals
Landon Donovan – 7 games, 0 goals
Arouna Kone – 47 games, 6 goals
Duncan Ferguson
Cottee, Ferguson and Campbell were all popular goalscorers during their spells with Everton, whilst Beattie and Saha were a little more up-and-down, and Donovan and Kone didn’t enjoy much success.
Sandro will be hoping to be more Cottee than Kone when he takes over the No. 9 shirt this summer, and Everton will be expecting big things from the Spanish Under-21 international despite his bargain fee.
