Rangers have confirmed the signing of Manchester City winger Aaron Nemane this evening.

According to the Glasgow Evening Times, Rangers intend to use Manchester City winger Aaron Nemane in the developmental squad – and will subsequently continue pursuing Hearts star Jamie Walker.
The Gers added nine new signings before the season started, as manager Pedro Caixinha landed Bruno Alves, Fabio Cardoso, Ryan Jack, Graham Dorrans, Carlos Pena, Dalcio, Daniel Candeias, Eduardo Herrera and Alfredo Morelos to kickstart his Ibrox revolution.
Rangers have endured some frustrating performances already this term, especially in attack – and whilst they have dipped back into the transfer market, their new signing may not help Caixinha just yet.

Rangers confirmed the signing of Manchester City winger Aaron Nemane this evening, as new Gers Director of Football Mark Allen – who previously worked as City’s academy chief – has called in a favour from his former club to land the French-born wide man on loan until January.
The 19-year-old has come up through the ranks with City, and whilst he has been touted for a bright future, the Glasgow Evening Times report that he will start off life at Ibrox in the Rangers developmental squad.
Given that Nemane’s City contract expires next summer, this could be a smart move from Rangers. By taking a close look at Nemane, Rangers can weigh up whether they want to pursue the winger permanently, as he could be a bargain signing for limited compensation when his City deal ends.

The report also notes that Rangers’ deal for Nemane doesn’t end their interest in signing Hearts ace Jamie Walker, with Nemane’s youth status still leaving the Gers looking for another wide man to boost their first team.
Earlier this summer, BBC Sport reported that Rangers had two bids rejected for Walker, after the 24-year-old hit a total of 15 goals in all competitions for Hearts.
With Walker out of contract next summer and seemingly looking to leave, Rangers may hope that they can finally secure a deal for the Hearts ace, with Nemane’s arrival not affecting their pursuit.
