The 30-year-old has endured a difficult time since joining Aston Villa in the summer.
A report in the Daily Mail has suggested that Aston Villa would consider selling Ross McCormack for £10 million just over six months after his arrival at the Championship club.

Aston Villa’s Ross McCormack
In 22 appearances in all competitions for the Midlands side, he has scored just three times. Despite his poor record thus far – though it is slightly better when considered that he has started on just 13 occasions in the league and has still been taken off in seven of those games – it appeared that the former Leeds man would have the perfect chance to impress Steve Bruce in the coming weeks.
With Jonathan Kodjia away at the Africa Cup of Nations, and Rudy Gestede sold to Middlesbrough earlier this window, Villa have few senior options to pick from over the coming weeks, and therefore McCormack has the ideal opportunity to become the talisman that made him so effective at Elland Road and Craven Cottage.

However, is there a chance that he will not given that opportunity? The Mail reports that the Villans would consider any eight-figure bids for the 30-year-old.
Given his struggles this term, it would certainly be a gamble for any side to offer £10 million. But if any team did feel optimistic that they could bring the best out of him, it may be a risk worth taking this month.
