Wolverhampton Wanderers have so far made three signings this summer.

A report from the Express and Star has suggested that Wolves are set to prioritise bolstering their options in centre-midfield and in attack next as their summer preparations continue.

Wolves have so far made three signings during this window, with Ryan Bennett, Roderick Miranda and Phil Ofosu-Ayeh all arriving at Molineux.

But with the three acquisitions all defenders, it appears that new boss Nuno Espirito Santo is content with his options at the back and is now planning to strengthen his ranks further up the pitch.

According to the Express and Star, the Championship side now plan to add to their options in the middle of the park and up front.

It is certainly no surprise that Nuno is looking to make significant changes up front given the torrid time that the club’s forwards endured during the previous campaign.

Two players finished tied at the top of the club’s scoring charts in the league with just 10 goals apiece, and neither would be classed as out and out forwards either, while the next highest goalscorer – Ivan Cavaleiro, who can probably be best described as a part-time forward – managed just five strikes in the Championship.
