The West Ham star is not sure when he will return to London.
West Ham United rebel Dimitri Payet is to fly to Marseille this weekend and does not want to return to the UK – according to a report by the Daily Mirror.
They claim that he is flying home to see his wife and three children and that he has told friends he does not know when he will be heading back to London.
France’s Dimitri Payet before the match
The French international has been linked with a move to his former club throughout January and has been dropped by West Ham after telling Slaven Bilic he no longer wanted to play for the club.
The 29-year-old will therefore not be featuring for West Ham in their clash with Middlesbrough this afternoon as he will be back in his homeland – still hopeful of a deal coming off that can see him join Marseille this month.

His wife is said to be unsettled in the UK and wants to raise the family in France and Payet was hopeful a deal could be done to see him re-join his former team.
However, it is now looking like this saga will be dragging on for some time, rather than reaching a conclusion in the near future.
