Tottenham Hotspur teenager Dilan Markanday has been spotted in first-team training with so many players away on international duty.
That’s according to Football.London, who claim that Tottenham boss Nuno Espirito Santo brought Markanday into training on Friday.
The likes of Harry Kane, Steven Bergwijn, Son Heung-min and Giovani Lo Celso are away on international duty right now, joining a host of other players in being way from North London.
That means Nuno has had to bring some young players up to the first team, with both Matthew and Michael Craig spotted at Hotspur Way.
Another player involved was Markanday, with the 20-year-old rewarded for a superb start to the season with Tottenham’s Under-23’s.
Attacker Markanday has hit four goals in three Premier League 2 games this season, including a superb hat-trick against Leeds United.
The 20-year-old hasn’t yet made his senior Tottenham debut, but Jose Mourinho did admit last season that he wanted to give him a chance.

Mourinho seemingly liked what he saw from the versatile forward, and Nuno is now giving him a chance to shine right now.
Will Markanday go back to the Under-23’s when Tottenham’s internationals come back? Probably.
Yet if he can make an impact in this opportunity, he may well get his first-team debut under Nuno by the end of the season.
