Everton owner Farhad Moshiri is currently assessing his options, as he looks to put a new man in at Goodison Park.

Sky Sports News have reported on their main television channel (broadcast 7th November), that Diego Simeone is Everton’s first choice managerial appointment.
Everton have parted company with Ronald Koeman, and still look to be assessing their options, as they seek a replacement for the Dutchman.
Burnley boss Sean Dyche and Sam Allardyce have been among the front runners to date.

But Everton owner Farhad Moshiri reportedly has a more ambitious target in mind.
Moshiri dreams of placing Simeone at the helm at Goodison Park, to guide the club forward.

Simeone is currently at Atletico Madrid, and has earned a reputation as one of the finest managers in world football.
Simeone has guided Atleti to two Champions League finals and has won La Liga with the Spanish giants.
If Everton were to convince Simeone to move to Goodison Park it would be considered a major coup for the Merseyside outfit, but any deal seems highly unlikely at this moment in time.
