Spain international Diego Llorente has been linked with plenty of Premier League clubs but Everton are seemingly his most likely destination.

The agent of highly-rated Spaniard Diego Llorente has informed Real Sociedad that a bid is incoming from Everton, according to Noticias de Gipuzkoa.
Despite a hefty £45 million release clause in his contract, it seems that the Spanish international’s time in San Sebastian is coming to an end.
Real Sociedad appear to have accepted that Llorente’s future lies away from the Anoeta with the report adding that the Basque-based club are willing to accept a fee of around £26 million for their prized asset.
And, after previously expressing an interest in La Real targetman Willian Jose, Noticias de Gipuzkoa claims that Everton have regularly sent scouts to Spain of late to run the rule over the versatile and technically gifted Llorente.
All signs apparently point to Everton making a concerted attempt to lure the one-time Real Madrid starlet to Goodison Park with Llorente’s agents reportedly telling Sociedad that the Merseyside giants are set to lodge a bid in the near future.

Llorente has the awareness and ball-winning abilities to thrive in central midfield but it is suggested that Everton see him as a centre-back instead.
And with Phil Jagielka and Kurt Zouma on their way out, the 6ft 1ins Spaniard would be a more than welcome addition to a squad that looks well placed to challenge for the top six next season.
