According to a report in The Independent, Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg remains one of the players staying loyal to Jose Mourinho at Tottenham.
The Danish midfielder joined the club this summer, and he’s been one of the standout performers in what has been quite a rollercoaster season for Tottenham.
The report states that many at Spurs are losing faith in Mourinho, but it also notes that there are still some players who are Mourinho loyalists, with Hojbjerg reportedly being one of those along with Harry Kane.
It’s no surprise to hear that Hojbjerg is one of the players staying true to Mourinho, he’s one of the players who doesn’t seem to have suffered a dip in his performances this season, and his game really suits the archetypal Mourinho style, with his physical presence in the middle of the park flourishing under the ex-Chelsea boss.
Fortunately for Mourinho, the report also states that Daniel Levy still believes in him, which is probably the most important thing for him right now with speculation rife about his future in north London.
Joe Hart has recently praised Hojbjerg for being a top professional, and it seems as though the midfielder is a professional in every sense of the word, and while others at Tottenham are reportedly doubting the manager, Hojbjerg is sticking by him.
With the likes of Julian Nagelsmann being linked with a move to Tottenham, it seems as though Spurs’ managerial situation may be a little bit up in the air, but Hojbjerg seems to still be backing his gaffer.
