Leeds United owner wants to build a new training ground.
Leeds United have bought back stadium Elland Road, ending a period of 13 years leasing their own ground from investors.
The club announced the news on their official website last night, and it comes just two months after new owner Andrea Radrizzani took 100 per cent control.

Radrizzani has been an impressive custodian of the club so far and this is significant news. But one question remains, what about training ground Thorp Arch?
Thorp Arch was also sold off in 2004 to pay the club’s debts, and so far Leeds continue to lease it.
This could mean Thorp Arch is repurchased with a view to being sold for a different use or even demolished, but at this stage it appears the club’s long term aim is to build a new purpose built facility.

It is claimed that Radrizzani has already held meetings about putting this plan into place, with the potential aim of it being operational by 2020.
He has been efficient with regard to everything he has done so far since taking charge, and this shows he has a long term vision to turn Leeds into a football club to really be proud of.
