If Derek McInnes becomes Sunderland boss, he will want to sign Jonny Hayes from Sunderland.

According to a report in the Northern Echo, Derek McInnes will make a move for Aberdeen’s Jonny Hayes, if he becomes Sunderland manager.
McInnes has emerged as a potential target for Sunderland, as they look to find a replacement for David Moyes.
McInnes has led Aberdeen to an impressive second place finish in the Scottish Premiership this season, and he helped the Dons make it to the Scottish Cup final.

Hayes’ form was a major reason behind McIness success at Aberdeen.
Hayes scored 11 goals and claimed 24 assists over the course of the season.

And if McInnes does arrive at Sunderland then he wants to bring Hayes to the Stadium of Light with him.
Sunderland struggled for goals this campaign, and the hope is that Hayes’ creativity could help them in their search to become a more potent attacking threat next term.
